Chemical Peel

Yellow Peel

Yellow Peel is an important, and somewhat recent, addition to a wide range of anti-pigmentation solutions. It is an efficacious reversal method against hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, photoageing or scars. Being a quick-recovery peel, it is an excellent choice for individuals who wish to avoid social downtime. As a progressive peel – which means its effect increases with the number of layers applied – it provides an early line of action preceding the deeper laser-based approaches. It delivers the benefits of more aggressive peels without the reddening and swelling associated with them.

Salicylic Peel

Salicylic acid peel is a chemical peel mostly used to treat acne. Chemical peels are sometimes called dermal peeling or chemexfoliation. The process involves applying a chemical to the skin that causes the skin to break down and shed.

Salicylic acid peels have some benefits for your skin.

Comedolytic. Salicylic acid cleans out your pores and sloughs away dead skin cells that build up around your hair follicle and cause blemishes

Anti-Inflammatory. Salicylic acid can lower inflammation, redness, and swelling caused by acne.

Antifungal. Salicylic acid is an ingredient in Whitfield’s ointment, which is used for fungal infections. A salicylic acid peel can also help treat fungal infections like fungal acne.‌‌

Lowers oil production. Sebum is a natural oil that moisturizes your skin. Too much oil and dead skin cells together can clog your pores and cause a break out. Salicylic acid lowers the amount of oil in people with acne.

Improves hyperpigmentation. While not used for dark spots as often as other acids, a salicylic acid peel can help improve sun spots or melasma. Breaking down the superficial layer of the skin can help rejuvenate the skin and improve appearance.

Prevents tumors. Salicylic acid can help stop cell growth that leads to tumors in your skin. It can especially help with growths caused by sun damage.
